Welcome Addresses

We will synthesise the discussions to create a comprehensive meeting report. This report will be circulated to all participants for input, before final sign-off by the chairs of the meeting prior to it being published as part of the GESDA Science Breakthrough Radar® in 2026. The report will be open access, and available online and in print.
The Radar will be launched at GESDA’s annual Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipation Summit (14-16th October 2026), gathering leaders from diplomacy, academia, philanthropy, business and civil society to discuss the implications of anticipated science developments. The Radar serves as a foundation for structured dialogue between these communities, enabling them to develop solution ideas that can both accelerate responses to humanity’s challenges and widen the circle of beneficiaries, ultimately catalysing joint action.
