Stephanie is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Neural Control of Movement Lab at ETH Zurich. She obtained her PhD in 2023, investigating how deep NREM sleep, particularly its hallmarking brain oscillations known as slow waves, influence cardiovascular activity and functions during and after sleep. Utilizing EEG-feedback non-invasive brain stimulation to enhance slow waves, she's exploring the complex interactions between the brain and heart during sleep, with the goal of advancing cardiovascular health. Stephanie is also interested in how neurofeedback approaches to regulate specific brain areas influence sleep quality.
