Professor and academic freedom officer at Sciences Po, expert on China's science and science diplomacy and its impact on the global governance of science. She worked 13 years in China (including 7 years at Tsinghua University) and has published many books and articles. As an academic, she joined the French ministry of foreign affairs (2017-2019) to work on bilateral university and scientific cooperation. Former Dean of Sciences Po's University College (2018-2023), she is now a Research Affiliate at the International Science Council (ISC), cofounder of the European Science Diplomacy Initiative (ESDI, 2019) and member of the Jacques Delors EU-China working group.
