Samia Hurst
Samia Hurst-Majno is a physician bioethicist, ethics consultant, director of the Institute for Ethics, History, Humanities (IEH2) and the Department of Health and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva. She is a member of the Swiss National Advisory Commission on Biomedical Ethics and the Senate of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences. From March 2020 to March 2022, she was chair of the Ethical Legal and Social issues group and vice-chair of the Swiss COVID19 Science Task Force. She joined the Assembly of the ICRC in June 2022.
