Niniane Paeffgen is Managing Director at the Swiss Digital Initiative (SDI) Foundation. Launched in September 2019 by digitalswitzerland and under the patronage of Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer, the initiative aims to advance practice-oriented ethics in the digital age through concrete projects. Before joining the SDI, Niniane worked for digitalswitzerland, where she was coordinating the National Advisory Council on Digital Transformation and the Security Council Affairs Division at the United Nations.
She is a member of the WEF Global Shapers Community, the Swiss Think Tank on Foreign Policy (foraus) and the Davos Digital Council and holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen.
