Nicolas H. Roelofs, Ph.D. is currently a Thematic Partner at Summa Equity AB, a Swedish based private equity impact investor. He also serves on six company Boards for a range of venture capital backed start-ups, larger private equity backed multinational companies and US public companies. He has more than 35 years of experience in the Life Sciences and Diagnostics industry. He served as an operating manager in roles across R&D, business development, sales, and business management. He has been directly involved in four start-up companies and several multi-national corporations including Baxter Healthcare, Applied Biosystems, Stratagene, Bio-Rad and Agilent Technologies Inc.. Nick received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University.
