Maya Ben-Yami is a PhD student at the Technical University of Munich and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact research, working as part of the CriticalEarth H2020 Innovative Training Network. Maya researches climate tipping elements, with a focus on the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). She uses both real-world and model data to determine the impacts of and find early warning signals for a potential AMOC collapse.
