Fowzan S. Alkuraya is Chief Medical and Genomics Officer of Lifera Omics and Professor of Human Genetics at Alfaisal University. He is also the Founding Chairman of the Department of Translational Genomics at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, reflecting a career that spans clinical genetics, academic research and biotechnology leadership.

A physician-scientist and clinical geneticist, Alkuraya has built a career around identifying the molecular basis of rare genetic disorders and translating genomic discovery into clinical diagnosis.
