Estelle Fontaine is the Stakeholder Engagement Lead at GESDA, where she fosters strategic relationships across governments, UN organisations and the diplomatic community. In her previous role, she was responsible for international relations on behalf of the Minister for Finance and senior management at Ireland's Department of Finance, collaborating closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs on global and EU outreach, alliance building, and preparations for Ireland's 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. With a decade of governmental experience both domestically and abroad, Estelle's multidisciplinary background includes roles in the Swiss Ministry of Defence and the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom, focusing on defence and security policy, intelligence, and legislative translation. A multilingual specialist, Estelle holds certifications in intelligence and security, linguistics, economics and project management and has led cross-governmental strategies and research projects in international relations and defence.
