Chris Harland has worked for the ICRC for 20 years, in Geneva, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Washington, D.C., before joining the New York Delegation to the United Nations, where he has been for the past 5 years. He heads the humanitarian affairs and policy team of the Delegation.
