CLINICAL: Dr. Lee, a senior interventional cardiologist at NUHCS, has performed over 3,000 PCI procedures, including emergency interventions. He has demonstrated live procedures at major conferences and received the National Medical Excellence Award in 2011. His practice spans general and interventional cardiology as well as sleep medicine. RESEARCH: A full Professor of Medicine at NUS, Dr. Lee led pioneering research (2012–2022) on obstructive sleep apnea and coronary revascularization outcomes. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed papers, including corresponding authorship in top journals like EHJ, Circulation, JACC, Diabetes Care, CHEST, and SLEEP. He has spoken at international meetings, including the ACC and World Sleep Congress, and serves as an associate editor for the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. EDUCATION: An award-winning educator, Dr. Lee received the 'Great Teacher Award' (2021–2022) from NUS Medicine. He has mentored over ten postgraduate and medical students, whose achievements include the NUS Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize and UROP Excellence Award. He contributes to NUS Medicine admissions and NUHCS senior resident selection. ADMIN: As Group Director of Clinical Research at NUHCS, Dr. Lee oversees the Clinical Trial Unit. Since 2023, he has chaired the NUS APFPTC and serves as a Singapore Sleep Society council member (2024–2026).
