Andrea Boggio is Professor of Legal Studies at Bryant University. He also teaches about the arts and human rights in the Master in Performing Arts Management at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala/Polytechnic University of Milan.
He completed his post-doc at the University of Geneva and has held academic positions at Keele University and the University of Turin. In recent years, he was a consultant for WHO, UNCESCR, the Special Rapporteur on Toxics and Human Rights, and the Special Rapporteur on the freedom of opinion and expression.
His latest edited book is Human Germline Genome Modification and the Right to Science. Human Germline Genome Modification and the Right to Science. A Comparative Study of National Laws and Policies (Cambridge University Press 2020). He is currently working on a two-volume book on the human right to science. Professor Boggio holds a degree from the Catholic University of Milan and Stanford Law School.
