Links to other websites\n\nWhere GESDA places other website links on the GESDA platform website these may connect Users to external or third-party websites that may or may not be related to the GESDA platform website and as such may not be under its control. \n\nGESDA is not responsible for the content of external or third-party websites. AI Use Policy\n\nThis is our AI Use Policy. It governs every AI feature on the Platform, and it is written so that it can also stand on its own. It applies to anyone who uses our AI features:\n\nBehind the scenes, our AI features run on Shapeable's infrastructure and call third-party foundation-model providers — the companies that run the large language models that generate the language — to produce the output. How AI handles the personal information in your Inputs and Outputs — including retention and training commitments — is covered in the Privacy Policy.\n\n\\#### Inputs and Outputs\n\nWhen you type a question, prompt, or request into an AI feature we call that an \"**Input**\". What the feature sends back — a summary, draft, answer, or similar — we call an \"**AI Output**\".\n\n\\#### You are told when you are using AI\n\nOur interface makes clear, before you use each AI feature, that you are interacting with AI, and reminds you that its Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect.\n\n\\#### AI Outputs can be wrong\n\n**AI Outputs can contain errors, omissions, or fabrications** — they are produced by probabilistic language models, so the same Input can produce different Outputs at different times. This is inherent to how these models work.\n\n\\#### AI Outputs are not professional advice\n\nAI Outputs are intended to support research, analysis, collaboration, and similar knowledge work. They are **not** professional advice and do not replace advice from a qualified professional.\n\n**You must not rely on an AI Output as the sole basis for any legal, medical, financial, or safety decision.** You must independently evaluate any AI Output before you act on it. We and Shapeable do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness-for-purpose of any AI Output.\n\n\\#### Who owns an AI Output\n\nTo the extent we or Shapeable hold any intellectual property rights in an AI Output, we assign those rights to you on creation — subject to:\n\n\\- the rights we and Shapeable reserve in our content and intellectual property;\n\n\\- any rights held by the foundation-model provider or by third parties whose content the AI drew on; and\n\n\\- the **Main Licence**, which applies whenever the AI Output incorporates or is built from content you, other users, or we have contributed.\n\nWhere an AI Output is built from contributed content, it is made available under the Main Licence, and any attribution that content requires is carried through (see *How an AI Output is licensed* below).\n\n\\#### How an AI Output is licensed\n\nAn AI Output draws on content already on the Platform, and it cites every source it uses. Because everything the AI draws on has first been cleared for that use, the AI Output is made available under the **Main Licence**, together with its list of sources. Where an Output draws on a third party's work that we only reference rather than own or license — such as a publication or a website credited in the answer — we credit and link back to that source and do not place the underlying third-party work under the Main Licence.\n\n\\#### Whether AI Outputs are protectable\n\nThe legal status of intellectual property in AI-generated outputs is still unsettled in every jurisdiction whose copyright law applies to us. We therefore cannot promise that an AI Output is protectable by copyright or that it is free of third-party rights. Treat AI Outputs with that uncertainty in mind.\n\n\\#### Searching for participants\n\nWhen you search, filter, browse the participants listings, or open the people tab, we show you participants whose profile content matches what you are looking for — and for some of those searches we use a small amount of automation to surface close matches. This runs only in response to a question you have asked; it does not push suggestions at you in the background.\n\nThese features are for finding participants to collaborate with. Please don't scrape profiles, collect them in bulk for external use, send bulk or unsolicited commercial messages, or use the features to harass, stalk, or profile others.\n\n## 8. Amendments\n\nGESDA may amend these Terms of Use at any time by notice on this GESDA platform website. Amendments will be effective immediately upon publication. After posting the notice, the User’s continued use of the GESDA platform website will be deemed as acceptance of the amended Terms of Use.\n\nA User may reasonably request by email to GESDA that factual inaccuracies or errors in content (including in relation to accreditations) on the GESDA platform website be amended by GESDA.\n\n## 9. Severability\n\nIf any part or provision of these Terms of Use is prohibited or void at law or otherwise illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability, or invalidity. If a modification is not possible, the part or provision must be treated for all purposes as severed from these Terms of Use. The remainder of these Terms of Use will be binding on a User\n\n## 10. Applicable Law\n\nThese Terms of Use will be governed and interpreted by the laws of Australia. \n\n \n## 11. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.\n\n## Technical And Regulatory Information\n\n#### Logging practices\n\nGESDA automatically records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of visitors. The IP address is a unique number assigned to every computer on the internet. Generally, an IP address changes each time you connect to the internet (it is a \"dynamic\" address). Note, however, that if you have a broadband connection, depending on your individual circumstance, the IP address that we collect may contain information that could be deemed identifiable. This is because, with some broadband connections, your IP address doesn't change (it is \"static\") and could be associated with your personal computer.\n\nAs well as recording the IP addresses of users, GESDA may also keep track of sites that users visited immediately prior to visiting GESDA's website and the search terms they used to find it. We keep track of the pages visited on GESDA's website, the amount of time spent on those pages and the types of searches done on them. Your searches remain confidential and anonymous. GESDA uses this information only for statistical purposes to find out which pages users find most useful and to improve the website.\nGESDA also captures and stores information that you transmit. This may include:\n\n * Browser/Device type/version\n * Operating system used\n * Media Access Control (MAC) address\n * Date and time of the server request\n * Volume of data transferred\n\n#### External links behaviour\n\nSome of the links on GESDA's websites link to other sites created and maintained by other public- and/or private-sector organizations. GESDA provides these links solely for your information and convenience. When you transfer to an outside website, you are leaving the GESDA domain, and GESDA's information management policies no longer apply. GESDA encourages you to read the privacy statement of each external website that you visit before you provide any personal data.\n\n#### Cookies and web beacons\n\nCookies and web beacons are electronic placeholders that are placed on your device by websites to track your individual movements on that website over time. GESDA uses both session-based cookies (which last only for the duration of the user's session) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device and provide information about the session you are in and waits for the next time you use that site again).\n\nThese cookies and web beacons provide useful information to GESDA, enabling us to recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's access to and use of our sites, allows us to track usage behavior, and to balance the usage of our websites on all GESDA web servers.\nTracking cookies, third-party cookies, and other technologies such as web beacons may be used to process additional information, enable non-core functionalities on the GESDA website and enable third-party functions (such as a social media \"share\" link). We may also include web beacons and other similar technology in promotional email messages to determine whether the messages have been opened.\n\n#### Do Not Track (DNT)\n\nThe online advertising industry has self-regulatory initiatives designed to provide consumers a choice in the types of ads they may see online and to conveniently opt-out from online behavioral ads served by some or all of the companies participating in these programs. Our websites do not respond to DNT consumer browser settings.\n\n#### Responses to legal requests\n\nGESDA reserves the right to share your information to respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law.\n\n#### Your data rights\n\nGESDA complies with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Under these laws and regulations, you may have certain rights to your data. Should you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send an email request to info@gesda.global with \"Data Privacy Request'' in the subject line and in the email please identify the specific privacy right you request assistance with. Please note additional information may be requested prior to fulfilling a request and that GESDA reserves the right to charge a fee, where permitted, to cover the cost of certain requests.\n\n#### How do I contact you if there is an issue?\nIf you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or about the use of your personal information, please feel free to contact us by email at info@gesda.global\n\n#### Contact Information\nGeneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) c/o Fondation Campus Biotech\nChemin des Mines 9\n1202 Geneva\n+41 58 201 02 61\ninfo@gesda.global\n"},"welcomeUrl":"https://radar.gesda.global/app/welcome","welcomeTitle":"Welcome to GESDA Radar and thanks for joining us!
